Languorous and smooth, El Pasador de Oro XO is a rum of great delicacy, which combines notes of dried fruit, milk caramel and roasting in a great sweetness. A blend of old Guatemalan rums (12 years old on average), aged at high altitude on the Altiplano and then blended and matured in Cognac barrels in Charente, it unfolds all its complexity with an impressive balance... An accessible and nuanced rum, flattering like a Diplomatico for those used to languorous and smooth rums. A discovery!
Elaboration:
Rum from Guatemala, blended from 6 to 15 years. Distilled from cane sugar honey, fermented with yeast from pineapple. The aging of the rum obtained takes place at high altitude on the Guatemalan altiplano, then assembled in France, aged in barrels of Cognac.Color:

This is certainly the best rum in Guatemala! El Pasador de Oro Gran Reserva offers superb woody aromas, mixed with notes of vanilla, spices, cocoa bean, candied orange, banana and a touch of sweet almond. An aromatic palette of the most varied and complex, which does not stop evolving during the tasting. Carrying all the generosity of its terroir of origin, Pasador unfolds a smooth profile without being too sweet, with always these very rich warm flavors, of great complexity, between caramel, chocolate, vanilla and ripe grapes. The finish is remarkably long, still resonating with fine notes of dark chocolate.

El Pasador de Oro "Pasion" is a blend of old Guatemalan rums that benefit from an additional aging in old cognac tuns in the Charente cellars of Les Bienheureux, and in which fresh passion fruit is infused for 10 days. The fruits are thus received, cut by hand before being infused in the rum according to a method kept secret. The result is a rum of great finesse, with a very sweet alcohol, carried by an exotic and pastry nose, and a powerful, tense and long palate, which stretches in a great persistence. A discovery!

Made with XO rum and fresh fruit. The rum has been previously finished in ex-foudres de Cognac and the fruits have been brought to maturity and then cut by hand before being infused in the rum according to an unpublished method kept secret!Color:
