The 2020 Château Fleur Haut-Gaussens Red opens with a refined nose of ripe black fruit, fresh black truffle, and a touch of graphite, all wrapped in elegant, well-integrated oak. On the palate, it’s dense and generous, with a vibrant, polished texture and beautifully balanced structure. A characterful wine that’s ready to enjoy now — especially with roast meats — but will also reward a few more years in the cellar.Vinification:
Mechanical harvesting after several maturity checks, the berries are then sorted three times. Cold pre-fermentation maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and natural malolactic fermentation. Aged 50% in French oak barrels for 8 months.Color:
