With a long tradition as a wine merchant and a specialist in whisky ageing, Midleton is one of the most modern distilleries in the world, renowned for its fruity Irish whiskies with a spicy and cereal undertone.

Spot Whisky takes its name from the marking of the barrels that the Mitchell family, who founded the House at the end of the 19th century, used to do: each age of whisky had a colored spot painted on the barrel. Green Spot, the most popular whiskey aged between 7 and 10 years, has become a household name.
