Wine:

The Brut Rosé Impérial Champagne opens with an expressive and juicy nose, with aromas of red fruits (strawberry, cherry, pomegranate) and spices. The palate imposes its beautiful volume, power and amplitude with an obvious youthful character and a tannic dimension that will age well. It is a rosé of character, ideal for a meal, capable of improving for several more years.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Composed of Pinot Noir (40 to 50%), Pinot Meunier (30 to 40%) and Chardonnay (10% to 20%).

Dosage : 7 g/l.

Color:

Brilliant pink with dominant red and violet reflections.

Nose:

Intense aromas of small red summer fruits (strawberry, raspberry, red currant) accompanied by floral nuances (rose, hawthorn) and a peppery touch.

Splendid, intense and round, this Champagne reveals at the same time a soft and firm aspect underlined by a persistent freshness with a minty finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Rosé as an aperitif, a fish-based starter, a salmon tartar, some snacked scampi, a duck with cherries until the dessert, a shortbread tart with red fruits.

Cellar aging:

As of now and over three years for enthusiasts

Moët & Chandon, the flagship Champagne house founded in Epernay in 1743, is today the largest producer of Champagne wines, notably thanks to its brut Impérial champagne, which represents the bulk of its production.

With the assurance of selected supplies and ultra-modern winemaking techniques led by the excellent cellar master Benoît Gouez, the House continues to please the world with creamy champagnes of great aromatic precision, with toasty and lemony notes.
