Wine:

With a remarkable intensity of fruit, the 2016 Pommard Vieilles Vignes is a powerful and complex wine. It is very colorful, and has beautiful black fruit, fresh cherry and red berry notes. It delivers a rather ambitious score, an opulent and complex palate capable of aging perfectly. It is a wine with a rich consistency, a very nice Pommard to pair with stewed meat or game.

Vinification:

Manual harvesting, light crushing and destemming, vinification in stainless steel tanks.
Aged in barrels, 30% of which are new, for 15 months.

Deep and intense red.

Nose:

Intensely fruity, beautiful notes of black fruits, fresh cherry and small red berries.

Palate:

Powerful and complex, this wine has an opulent palate with a beautiful aging potential!
