Wine:

The 2017 red Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans offers a particularly refined reading of this terroir, with notes of perfectly ripe red fruits mixed with wild flowers. The woodiness is very well integrated, the palate sapid, balanced, expressing great freshness and refined tannins in a great persistence. Impeccable style and expression!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, total destemming. Vinification in open vats for about 4 weeks and ageing in oak barrels for 18 months.

Color:

Bright red, of good intensity.

Nose:

Pure and fresh aromas of red fruits with a halo of wild flowers.

Palate:

Fresh and sapid this bottle will delight you by its freshness, its fine tannins and its great persistence.

Temperature:

Serve between 12 and 14°C.
