A synthesis of the purest expression of wines produced at Vega Sicilia, the 2018 red Ribera del Duero Valbuena 5 ano carries a spectacular balance around great finesse. Especially in this cooler year compared to previous ones, the wine offers a new interpretation, with a radiant tinto fino (96%), perfectly polished by wood. A proven aging technique that adapts to each vintage and thus delivers the wine in all its truth, with a strong spicy accent that brings it closer to the Unico style, great freshness, and a lot of elegance. Considered one of Parker's favorite vintages, the 2011 red Ribera del Duero Vega Sicilia Unico has developed during aging notes of black fruits, undergrowth, and eucalyptus. The result of a warm, sunny vintage that produced ripe, concentrated grapes sitting beautifully on a robust body that has had plenty of time to refine during its 10 years of cellar ageing, the 2012 Red Ribera del Duero Vega Sicilia Unico is a total success!
