The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A major player in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Usseglio Raymond & Fils is one of the most sought-after estates. Producing dazzling wines with sap and balance, it eclipses many of its peers due to its unparalleled consistency and class.

Always praised by the Parker Guide, it has become increasingly difficult to obtain their wines, as the estate is overwhelmed as soon as the vintage is released.
Wine The 2022 White Châteauneuf-du-Pape Pure Clairette shatters expectations. Sourced from a single small parcel, this radiant wine benefits from precision aging in Stockinger foudres, demi-muids, and barrels, which refine its texture without restraint. Upon opening, a subtle oak note hints at its youth, soon giving way to complex aromas of citrus, smoke, and remarkable freshness. The oak plays a purely supporting role, adding depth and roundness without overwhelming the wine. The palate is finely structured, delicate, and marked by vibrant minerality. A white wine with exceptional aging potential, but one few will have the privilege to experience. Rated 95/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand harvested from 50-year-old vines. Fermented in small new Stockinger cooperage foudres (17HL) and demi-muids (5HL), then aged for 6 months.
