The estate and the wine |
A true Chardonnay specialist working across both the Jura and Mâconnais, Rijckaert has become a name of real significance. Under the guidance of Florent Rouve—who took over the estate about a decade ago from founder Jean Rijckaert—the range has reached new heights, marked by crystalline, saline profiles paired with mouthwatering structure and finely tuned barrel aging. These Whites have a broad, irresistible appeal and the depth to charm every kind of palate. |

Delicate and crystalline, the 2022 Côtes du Jura Chardonnay White is a textbook introduction to Jura Chardonnay. With a subtle Burgundian-style aging, natural freshness, and a touch of salinity, it delivers an irresistibly charming profile marked by floral and vanilla notes. Give it a bit of air on opening to let it fully express its finesse and precise balance—this is a wine of elegant maturity and lightness. Perfect alongside freshwater fish or a toasted slice of bread topped with Saint-Félicien cheese. |

Hand harvested. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation (100% complete), natural thanks to the indigenous yeasts and ageing on lees, without stirring, with regular topping up, for 18 months in oak barrels, 70% of which are barrels containing 8 to 15 wines, 30% newer barrels and no new barrels. Light fining and filtration. Bottled on the estate and by them. |
