The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Stéphane Ogier is the centre of attention in the Northern Rhône Valley, crafting wines that embody the finest expressions of the region. His exceptional terroirs, meticulous winemaking, and unwavering passion result in Rhône wines of remarkable intensity and purity, with lush, expressive flavours that reach new levels of complexity.

Every cuvée reflects his dedication to excellence. The downside? With his growing reputation, these wines are becoming increasingly hard to find.
Wine Rooted in the finest granite slopes of the appellation, the 2022 Le Passage Red Saint-Joseph showcases Syrah at its most elegant. Silky, refined, and beautifully floral with subtle spice, it’s driven by ripe, juicy, and vibrant fruit, wrapped in smooth, supple tannins. This is a pitch-perfect expression of one of the Northern Rhône Valley’s most sought-after terroirs—a Saint-Joseph with broad appeal and true character, awarded 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, destemmed, cold macerated in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, indigenous yeasts, aged for 18 months in barrels, 10% of which are new.
