Palate Juicy and fresh, with ripe fruit flavours, this cuvée delivers a fine, velvety, and silky-smooth wine, elegantly framed by soft tannins.

Temperature Decant before serving at between 14 and 16°C.
Food Roasted free-range pork and bacon, pike-perch in red butter, lamb in puff pastry crust, beef fillet with a strong gravy and local cep mushrooms.

Wine Rooted in the finest granite slopes of the appellation, the 2022 Saint-Joseph Le Passage Red showcases Syrah at its best. Silky, elegant, and delicately spiced, it reveals floral nuances alongside ripe, juicy, and fresh fruit flavours, all wrapped in smooth tannins. A beautifully balanced Saint-Joseph that perfectly captures the essence of this sought-after terroir. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, destemmed, cold macerated in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, indigenous yeasts, aged for 18 months in barrels, 10% of which are new.
