The distillery
The distillery Martell stands as one of the oldest Cognac houses, established in 1715, with an unwavering commitment to excellence. From its inception, Martell's expertise has captured the world's attention, and even today, it remains a symbol of audacity and perfection.

In 1912, its iconic Cordon Bleu Cognac solidified its fame, becoming the emblem of the house. Martell has always held the Borderies cru in high esteem, favoring it since its foundation, and it has become the signature terroir of the Maison.
Spirits Introduced by Edouard Martell in 1912, the Cordon Bleu Cognac has become synonymous with the Maison, quickly achieving international acclaim for its unique taste, which owes much to the influence of the eaux-de-vie from the Borderies. It presents a coppery hue with golden reflections, and its bouquet bursts with notes of apple, candied plum, and roasted almond. This is complemented by an elegant palate marked by finesse and smoothness. The complex hints of fruits and delicate spices further elevate this ethereal aromatic profile, striking a perfect balance between suppleness and potency. Truly, a delightful experience!
Elaboration Grapes from the Borderies Cru, distillation of the clear wines (free of sediment and impurities) in the traditional copper still, aging in delicate French oak barrels, blending and storage in "dames-jeannes".
