The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A true Alsace legend and awarded three stars in the prestigious French wine guide RVF, Domaine Albert Boxler is nothing short of a Holy Grail for wine lovers. This meticulous and uncompromising producer continues to showcase the heights of the Alsatian terroir, delivering wines that stir deep emotions.

Jean Boxler pursues a relentless search for perfect balance, championing a style of absolute purity. You can taste every nuance of that vision in this breathtaking series of wines we are proud to present today.

We’ve been fans from the very beginning, devoted to this discreet, humble and passionate estate. With barely twenty hectares, nearly half of which are Grand Cru, its steep hand-tended slopes are a marvel in themselves.
Wine Sourced from three outstanding limestone terroirs around Turckheim and Katzenthal, the 2022 Alsace Gewurztraminer Réserve White is a meticulously crafted cuvée with precise mineral tension. Its distinct Gewurztraminer aromatics shine through with notes of rose and delicate spices. On the palate, it balances concentration with crisp acidity, delivering a ripe, fleshy, yet lively profile. This beautifully expressive off-dry style is utterly captivating. For the ultimate experience, serve it around 10°C with aged Munster on toasted country bread—pure bliss! A Favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 93/100.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vines aged 35 to 70 years, around Turckheim and Katzenthal in the localities of Boland, Logelberg and Pfoeller, limestone soil. Pressing of whole grapes, static settling, no temperature control, fermentation for 2 to 6 months. Aged on lees for 11 months. Sweet wine.
