The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Founded in 1750, Chanson has been cultivating excellence for almost three centuries, delivering a timelessly classic style that stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best thanks to wines of precision and purity, both White and Red.

Awarded one star in the prestigious French wine guide RVF, the estate has maintained an unwavering level of quality, backed by the discipline and resources of the Bollinger Group, which has steered the house for nearly 25 years.

Heritage, meticulous winemaking, perfectly judged aging and a state-of-the-art winery — nothing at Chanson is left to chance. The arrival of Vincent Avenel only sharpens the clarity of expression across the estate’s wide range.
Wine From a parcel of clay, limestone and sand, the 2017 Red Beaune Premier Cru Les Teurons delivers a lovely aromatic complexity, with pure notes of morello cherries and cherries in syrup, lifted by a discreet hint of oak that adds depth without overpowering the fruit. Already showing beautiful evolution, it offers fine yet structured tannins and the appetizing chew of a medium-bodied Pinot Noir, which will soften even further with a little more time in bottle. A truly charming wine.
Vinification Hand harvested grapes. Fermentation of whole grapes for two weeks. Aged for 17 months in oak barrels, with a moderate proportion of new barrels.
3.8-hectare plot, clay, limestone, and sandy soil, southeast exposure.
