The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A benchmark for Alsatian excellence, Albert Mann is one of the region’s finest estates, producing biodynamic wines of remarkable precision and depth.

Jacky Barthelmé and his son Antoine—who now leads the estate—have a masterful touch with both whites and reds. The great terroirs of Alsace resonate with new energy here, giving rise to wines of singular identity and striking emotional power. Their clarity, finesse, and drinkability make them essential references for serious wine lovers.

The estate’s rise reached a milestone recently with Alsace’s first-ever 100-point Parker score—for its Pinot Noir. And the rest of the range more than holds its own.

With 3 stars in the French wine guide RVF, Albert Mann now stands among the very best.
Wine Sourced from old vines rooted in limestone and granite hillsides, the 2023 Alsace Riesling White shows impressive depth and clarity. It opens with vibrant aromas of mandarin, lime, and subtle smoky notes. This is a textbook example of a well-made Riesling—generous on the palate, with energy, freshness, and a touch of roundness. A delicate saline edge and fine mineral bitterness lend structure and drive to its pure, linear profile. Perfect with tuna carpaccio or sea bream ceviche. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, fermentation and ageing on fine lees in stainless steel vats.
Residual sugar: 3 g/l. Dry wine.

Wine produced using organic and biodynamic methods, certified by Biodyvin.
