The estate and the wine |
|

A true symbol of Alsatian excellence, Albert Mann stands among the region’s most esteemed estates, producing biodynamic wines of remarkable precision and finesse.
Led by Jacky Barthelmé and now his son Antoine, who has taken the reins with quiet confidence, the domaine masters both white and red vinification. Here, Alsace’s greatest terroirs are reimagined with a vibrant, emotional clarity—yielding wines of unmistakable identity, balance, and depth. They are pure, digestible, and profoundly expressive—true benchmarks for wine lovers everywhere.
A crowning achievement: Albert Mann recently received Alsace’s first-ever 100-point score from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate for one of its Pinot Noirs—and the rest of the lineup is just as compelling.
With a prestigious 3-star rating from France’s Revue du Vin de France wine guide (RVF, one of the country’s most respected wine publications), Albert Mann unquestionably ranks among the greats. |

Sourced from the estate’s finest limestone and gravel parcels—including some classified as Grand Cru—the 2023 Gewurztraminer White from Alsace delivers remarkable precision and freshness, paired with the generous ripeness of the vintage. This off-dry white (17g/L of residual sugar) strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and vibrant acidity. Its exuberant, energetic profile bursts with expressive aromas of rose, bergamot, ginger, and lychee. Subtly spiced and full of character, it’s a brilliant match for basil-infused prawns, herring with potatoes and oil, or coriander-scented shrimp. |
