Wine:

Young and incredibly fresh, the 2021 Red Douro Passa showcases beautiful ripeness with notes of black cherry. On the palate, it’s firm and dense, with concentrated flavors and fine tannins, creating a rich and fruit-forward profile that’s a pleasure to drink. Enjoy this bottle over the next 6 to 8 years, slightly chilled. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aged for 11 months in French oak barrels.

Dark carmine red.

Nose:

Ripe and fresh, with aromas of fresh black cherry.

Palate:

A lovely firmness shows from the first sip, with fine tannins, a dense texture, and a restrained, well-balanced aging profile.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
