Wine:

The 2012 white Alsace Riesling Lieu-Dit Buehl, scoring 94/100 and a personal favorite of Olivier Poussier, expertly combines tension, firmness, and persistence with grace and precision. This powerful, sleekly contoured white, aged ten years, reveals masterful complexity with notes of citrus, ripe, and exotic fruits. It's a quintessential wine for fine dining, characterized by its delightful bitter undertones and a saline finish, ideally paired with sandre in beurre blanc or shellfish.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested in 20 kg crates. Long pressing and static settling. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Aged 15 months in foudres.

Golden yellow with green highlights.

Nose:

Expressive, with aromas of exotic fruits and Victoria pineapple underlined by notes of white flowers.

Palate:

The initial taste is clean, rich and intense, marked by ripe fruit flavors with refreshing mineral nuances.
