Born from the unique schist soils of the Douro, the 2017 LBV Red Porto is a quintessential example of traditional port, aged one year in concrete vats followed by two years in 500-liter barrels, as is customary. This port strikes a balance between power and delicacy, with a fruit-forward style. It unfolds a rich tapestry of flavors, featuring woodland berry, plum, blackberry, and a hint of spice. The robust structure is complemented by refreshing acidity, achieving a precise balance. It's a perfect dining companion, pairing splendidly with dishes like duck breast, and of course, chocolate.Vinification:
