The Dalmore 21 Year Old Sherry Single Malt Whisky is the centerpiece of The Dalmore's core collection. Matured in 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, this whisky is the epitome of The Dalmore's savoir-faire, opening with notes of orange, bitter chocolate, coffee and vanilla. The palate continues with licorice, wild berries, roasted nuts and marzipan. The finish of pear tatin and blood orange is sublime.

Elaboration:

Non-peated. Finished 100% in casks containing 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry.

Nose:

Flavors of bitter chocolate, Seville oranges, Colombian coffee and vanilla.

Palate:

Aromas of wild berries, licorice stick and roasted nuts. The finish is highlighted by notes of peach, ginseng and tarte tatin with pears and blood oranges.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

Food and wine pairing:

As an aperitif or digestif, dry, on the rocks or accompanied by still, neutral spring water at room temperature.
