The XA Mama Quilla Guatemalan Rum owes its name to the moon deity, the goddess of the Incas. This blend is, therefore, a tribute to the ancestral Guatemalan culture, a rum with a subtle, spicy, and balanced aromatic profile. A blend of Guatemalan rums aged in solera and matured in old cognac tuns, it gives off delicate scents of cinnamon, cocoa, exotic fruits, and raisins. The palate is complex, unctuous, punctuated on the finish with a touch of honey and spices. A very neat wine, which places itself in the leading group of great rums...

Elaboration:

Blend of Guatemalan rums (solera method) with a final aging in old Cognac tuns.

Color:

Bright amber gold.

Nose:

Aromas of cinnamon, cocoa mixed with notes of exotic fruits and raisins.

Palate:

Complex and smooth with honeyed and spicy flavors that linger deliciously on the palate.

Food and wine pairing:

Pure, alone, on ice or in cocktails.

Alexandre Sirech and Jean Moueix, respectively, former owner of the Havana Club and a Bordeaux merchant, have combined their talents to create a range of 100% French whiskies under the name "Les Bienheureux". Since then, their creations have met with phenomenal and worldwide success and have become popular with lounge bars and connoisseurs.

Strengthened by this response and success, they have since designed a collection of spirits that continues to expand its spectrum and its origins. Today we present a Rum from Guatemala, elaborated with the same requirements and the same attention to detail.
