Wine:

Preserved by a cool, high-altitude terroir and aged without oak, the 2021 red Alentejo Mirra offers a rich and comfortable wine with perfect maturity. Aromas of black fruits, olive, and spices, complemented by a hint of leather and candied fruits, unfold within a lush, voluptuous framework. This wine is perfect for grilled dishes or slow-cooked meats.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in the last week of August. Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 7 days at 28°C. Aged 6 months in bottle.

Color:

Intense garnet red.

Nose:

Aromas of macerated red and black fruits, with a touch of cocoa underlined by spicy notes.

Palate:

Comfortable and rich, the tannic structure is powerful, with flavors of stewed black fruits, marked by a hint of licorice.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Bifanas (Portuguese-style marinated pork), braised beef with crushed heirloom tomatoes, grilled ribs.

From now until 2027
