Wine:

From a Mediterranean terroir with oceanic influence, the 2023 Coastal Region Slow Chenin Blanc unfolds with finesse and restraint. Partial aging in new 600-liter barrels adds complexity and texture, allowing the fruit to shine amid notes of dried herbs, anise, fennel, and citrus flavors. A beautiful representation of the Chenin Blanc grape on these granite and sandstone soils by the ocean.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification with indigenous yeasts, de-stemming, pressing and settling. Part of the wine is fermented in new 600-liter barrels. Aged for 6 months on lees.

Color:

Intense, bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Beautiful aromas of dried herbs, delicate aniseed, lemon and fennel notes. A fresh, oceanic nose.

Palate:

Complex and delicate, this wine is invigorating and invigorating, a promising journey to South Africa. Cradled by a silky, fresh texture, we appreciate this marvelous expression of Chenin.
